Follow these easy steps below to set up your Netscape 7.x for e-mail.

1. In Netscape 7.x click Edit then Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.

2. On the window that opens up, click on the button "Add Account" at the bottom of the screen.

3. You should now be opened to the New Account Setup page in the Account Wizard. You want to select the top option "Email Account" and click on Next to continue.

4. On the Identity screen you want to type in your Full Name in the "Your Name" box. And you want to type your GlobalNet email address in the "Email Address" box ie: johndoe@surfglobal.net. (Make sure you type the email address all lowercase and with no spaces). Click on Next to continue.

5. On the Server Information screen, Where it says "Selct the type of incoming server you are using", you want to select POP. And below in the Incoming Server box you want to type: mail.surfglobal.net. And for the Outgoing Server box you want to type: mail.surfglobal.net as well (Make sure everything is lowercase and no spaces). Click on Next to continue.

6. On the User name screen you want to type yor username in the box ie: johndoe@surfglobal.net (it should be just the first part of your email address). Click on Next to continue.

7. On the Account Name screen, you want to type a friendly name in the "Account Name' box. You can call it anything you wish. Click on Next to continue.

8. Congratulations, you should be all done. Verify the information below to make sure it is accurate and then click on Finish to save the settings. You should now be all set to use your email account in Netscape 7.x.
